Improved touristic sites generate more income in Mantaro Valley
Grupo SEPAR, a Peruvian NGO, asked SharePeople for advice on improving the marketing of a tourist route. They had to deal with a complex political environment because a committee of several organisations managed the tourist route. SharePeople analysed the whole route. The most important recommendation was to approach the product in a more commercial way, thinking from the market perspective. Also, the group urged that well-defined responsibilities of each of the committee members be highlighted. Additionally, they managed to provide recommendations for improvement of the services of each one of the small entrepreneurs who take part in the tourist route.
