About the organisation
Moivaro is a chain of hotels, lodges and tent camps in Africa with 15 locations in Tanzania, one in Kenya and 1 startup in Marocco. It is founded by Gijs de Raadt in 1998, he was born in Africa and graduated in Holland at the University of Leiden in African Studies. His passion for the African continent is infinite. He has been very succesfull so far and his ambition is to create 10.000 jobs via hotelmanagement. Nowadays Moivaro is really an established brand which represents a good price/quality combination within 2 or 3 stars hotels.
Business case
The Dutch expert was asked to give feedback on Gijs's personal management style in order to reach more effectivity and impact to reach his mission; creating 10.000 jobs. Thomas Vencken
was found very suitable to consult Moivaro because of his 12 years experience in managing and training/coaching. The expert is a performance coach of management teams and individuals in complex, dynamic and challenging environments.
Analysis
To analyze the organisation Thomas Vencken interviewed a lot of people in the organisation (the CEO, Operational manager, Chief Accountant etc) Also, he has been present at various meetings concerning operational and strategic issues and monitored day-to-day operations in the field.

Follow up
On the short term the partners will have weekly telephone contact to tackle challenges, also the expert will supply models and literature on coaching. On the long the expert will coach Moivaro concerning managerial and strategic change.
Moivairo and SharePeople maintain a two-year partnership. Both organisations will keep in touch (a.o. via the SharePeople liaison, at least every 6 months) After this Programme, an official update on the status of the organisation takes place every 12 months. With this information, a new Programme is one of the possibilities to boost the organisation if needed.
