SPEW 2010: A Great Experience!
From June 25 to July 3 2010 fourteen social entrepreneurs and six liaison organisations from India, the Philippines, Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, South Africa, Peru and Bolivia have visited the Netherlands to participate in the SharePeople Experience Week 2010.
SharePeople invited these social entrepreneurs to share their view on Dutch businesses, markets and culture with Dutch professionals and their companies during the second SharePeople Experience Week. This week of meetings and workshops revolved around the themes Access to knowledge, Access to Finance and Access to markets. SharePeople has organised several introductions visits to companies in their own value chain. Additionally the entrepreneurs worked during the week on their communication and presentation skills and supported each other by sharing experiences.
SharePeople would like to expand the role for her partners in her parnter countries. Liaison organisations were invited to share experiences, acquire knowledge and meet inspiring people. The goal of this separate programme was to tighten our relationship, facilitate them in doing an even better job and possibly extend the role of the liaisons.
On the last day the participants shared their view on the challenges SharePeople is facing. After the football match the week has been closed with a fantastic party at Landgoed de Horst in Driebergen.
